We are thrilled to unveil our inaugural Artist-In-Residence, Kate Hooray Osmond! Based in Charleston, SC, Kate’s work explores perception and conscious awareness, aiming to decentralize her point of view. During this residency, Kate plans to embark on an exciting artistic journey, focusing on painting various cities and places across the US in her signature style. Her paintings will feature simple, abstract, and brightly colored shapes, each capturing the essence of the location’s unique color story and culture. Through meticulous research of the culture, history, and geographic architecture, Kate will create compositions where abstracted geometric forms represent the architectural and visual elements of each place. Join us in eagerly anticipating the vibrant and thought-provoking paintings that will emerge from Kate’s artistic exploration.
