No Selfies or Snapshots
Artrepreneur was created so visual artists can sell and promote their best visual art & design to our worldwide audience of buyers, collectors, and art lovers. To fulfill this objective, and to make Artrepreneur a “go-to” destination for buying artwork, hiring artists, and finding creative inspiration, members should only upload works created with artistic intent that are thoughtfully prepared for public display.
Examples of works that may not reach the level of artistic intent include:
- selfies
- snapshots
- promotional photos, such as photos from your gallery exhibition (other than those posted by the photographer in the proper subcategory)
- or other casual photos (i.e. photos taken out the window of a moving vehicle or photos uploaded directly from your camera without basic adjustments such as brightness and contrast).
Merely adding an automated filter to a selfie, snapshot or other non-artistic work will not automatically make it an artistic work. Please see our Image Upload Guidelines for additional information. Artrepreneur’s curatorial team may remove works that do not adhere to our guidelines at its discretion. If you believe your work was removed in error, please contact support. Please include an explanation as to why you believe the image should be reinstated.
